Storyboards and scripts are a necessary part of the video production process. Without storyboards the actors won`t know where to go and nothing will be set in stone. You would just be wandering around in an effort to find a good area to shoot a scene. If you don`t even have a rough idea as to where you want to shoot your scene then you really should not be shooting yet. Rough planning is very important, you also need to consider things for the future. You want to shoot scenes that will work well together and will blend during the editing process. If the editor is given multiple different backgrounds it will be hard to create something effective. Scripts are also very important. Without scripts the actors would be at a loss of words and will constantly be relying on their ability to improvise. Sometimes improvising is effective but if it is constantly being done then it ruins the video. Nothing is set in stone that way and the video can take random dramatic turns which ruins the clip. Subsequently, always sticking to the script isn’t always ideal. This can sometimes ruin clips due to monotone voices and the viewer can almost expect what someone is going to say next. The script has a very big impact on the movie but it also depends on how well the actor compliments the script. Some things won’t work well with certain actors that’s why scripts and actors go together. You also want to have an actor who is good at memorizing if there are a lot of lines. Scripts and storyboards also go together well, if you are shooting at one area you need to shoot all the scenes you might need. The actors must know their scripts so they can perform everything they might need to in that one area. If they forget lines and take too long coming up with something new the scene has a possibility of changing. Also if you realize you missed a bit of dialogue you will have to go back and shoot the scene again. If your storyboards and scripts are not fully prepared your video will result in a disaster.

Photoshop and other software have created a world in which we can no longer trust what we are seeing in print or online. Even before Photoshop people were altering images in dark rooms. Photoshop and other digital imaging software have changed the process by making it easier to do but harder to detect. It would take hours in the dark room to alter images but with our new technology you can do it almost instantly. Although before when it was done it was never done to a high extent. There was nothing ground breaking with the image being real or fake. This process also allowed photographers to take photos without worrying about if there were mistakes or not. Overall mainly positive things came out of this but there is still the ability to alter images and make it fake. In the past photo editing was not a crisis but with Photoshop you can create fake things. There are many incredible things you can do with Photoshop and make it seem realistic. By changing the image you`re bending the truth behind it. Some possible implications to society as a result of improved digital imaging software is that we are not truthful. Our ability to alter the truth and make others believe in it is powerful. We can change things to falsely accuse someone and get away with it like the Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson case. It could possibly be accusing of us being evil, altering images for our own personal gain and putting down those around us. The implication is clearly trying to state that digital imaging is a very powerful tool and can be used to do either incredible things or horrendous things. You can no longer have faith and believe in what people post on the internet. There are very high chances now a days that the things you see on the internet is fake. Photoshop is a big problem and there seems to be no restrictions or repercussions in using it.
